I wrote too soon
About five minutes after my last post Rylan realized his steps weren't just a way to get mommy excited and an actual way to get around. He spent the rest of the night practicing. We have moved on to a new level and hopefully left the 'find invisible things on the floor and put them in my mouth' phase behind.

I don't think they EVER stop finding the invisible things on the floor and putting them in their mouths.
At least his hands will be cleaner though ;)
